BTA Test

Biological Terrain Assessment test cassette is a visual immuno-chromatrographic rapid test for the qualitative detection

of the bladder tumour antigen (BTA) within urine samples.

The determination of BTA in urine is used to assess the risk of bladder cancer. The test can be used

both as a screening test for the early detection of urocyst carcinoma and can be used to monitor

patients who have already been diagnosed and treated for bladder tumours. In these cases the test

supports routine examinations of patients for the occurence of relapses.
