A rapid lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay test for the qualitative detection of IgM antibody to Hepatitis A Virus (HAV) in serum or plasma.

The test is an aid to screeening and diagnosing infection with HAV.

Hepatitis A is an acute infectious disease of the Liver caught commonly through poor personnel hygiene,contaminated food, water and person to person contact.
