Typhoid IgG/IgM Test

The Typhoid cassette test is a rapid test for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of anti-Salmonella typhi (S.typhi) IgG and IgM in serum, plasma

and whole blood.

The test is a screening test to aid in the diagnosis of infection with S.typhi.

Typhoid is a bacterial infection transmitted by human to human contact via food and drinking water contaminated with the feces of an infected person.

Its spread is also caused by poor hygiene habits and public sanitation.
